The exhibition starts with a letter/ foreword from Hédi:

My name is Hédi and I am going to tell you about my childhood. About growing up as a happy child and living in a happy town. What happened later is difficult to talk about and difficult to listen to. Still, I want to tell you my story and I want you to listen to it. 

We people can do such terrible things, but we also do such good. We all have a choice when we do things; we can choose to do what is good.
